NESPRESSO ON A BUDGET
Are you looking for a way to make coffeehouse-style coffee at home? Nespresso is my top choice for coffee makers and coffee you brew at home. I bet you are thinking right now Nespresso is not budget-friendly at all, but you could not be more wrong. The Nespresso machine is a bit costly compared to the average coffee maker on the market, but that does not mean it is not a great investment and that it cannot save you money.
You can make coffeehouse-style coffee at home
Let me share with you what I love about my Nespresso and how it helps save me money. This is why I recommend Nespresso as the top at-home coffee maker of 2023. I first received my Nespresso machine a few years ago as a Christmas gift from my husband, he knew that this was an item I would not have normally splurged on for myself but wanted badly. I was shocked to receive this gift because at the time I did not see it the way I see it now. I saw this as a luxury item alone and not as a way to keep me from buying expensive coffee shop beverages and yet still enjoy what I love, Latte's and Mocha's are my favorite coffee-house beverages.
Why I recommend the Nespresso Vertuoline
So my reason for suggesting this machine is simple, I am a coffee enthusiast and I frequently refer to myself as a coffee snob. I pour a cup of coffee at work and dread drinking it because it is usually mediocre at best, or too weak and looks like I just poured a cup of tea, not coffee. The model I own is the Nespresso Vertuoline machine and it came with a milk frother and a sample pack of Capsules when I received this for Christmas a few years ago. This machine is over two years old and still going strong and I typically use it every day.
How owning a Nespresso saves me money
1) The Nespresso Vertuoline machine is sturdy and well designed... This is my fifth year of owning this machine and it is still working just like it did on the first day I used it. I love the coffee every time I make it, and there are so many drinks you can make with this machine just like a coffee shop.
2) Saving money spent at coffee shops.....This is one of the biggest reasons my Nespresso saves me money. To be honest I used to spend a lot on coffee shop coffees at Starbucks, Biggby Coffee, and even Tim Hortons. My Nespresso, however, has made me less likely to purchase these coffee shop beverages because I love the beverages I can make at home now.
3) Cost of Nespresso Vertuoline pods versus coffee shop beverages...There is nothing better than being able to make coffeehouse-style coffee in the comfort of your own home. The pods for Nespresso can be more costly than some coffee but the coffee that Nespresso uses is of higher quality. For someone who considers themselves a coffee snob like me, they are worth the cost. I have found ways to save even more on these pods as well such as earning Amazon gift cards through my various market research and survey sites and using the gift cards to purchase coffee on Amazon.
Amazon sells three packs of most of the Nespresso Vertuoline pods for approximately $33. Each Pack has 10 pods in the pack so a 3 pack would be 30 pods total. $33 for 30 lattes is a great deal and even better if you never have to leave home. How long will the Nespresso Vertuoline coffee maker last?
I received my Nespresso Vertuoline as a Christmas gift from my husband in December 2015 and today as I am updating this it is almost 5 1/2 years old. I love being able to make coffeehouse-style coffee at home for a fraction of the price. I highly recommend this machine because of the taste and quality which in my opinion, cannot be matched. Recipes for great Nespresso lattes and beverages
Lattes and beverages you make with your Nespresso machine can be as simple and as complicated as you prefer. I have a few of my favorite go-to beverages that I drink made with my Nespresso.
Mocha Latte - I purchase a bottle of Fairlife chocolate Milk and froth this using my milk frother. Chocolate Fairlife milk is thicker than normal chocolate milk and makes a way better latte as a result.
Cinnamon Mocha Latte - Similar to the Original Mocha Latte I Froth Fairlife Chocolate Milk with a small amount of Cinnamon added to taste. I recommend adding it before you froth because it tastes so much better when frothed in the milk.
I also located some great recipes from Nespresso that you might enjoy trying. I prefer easier and quicker versions like the ones above but these can be a lot of fun to try also.
