My husband and I took a trip to the Bass Pro Springfield Mo this summer. If you have been around my blog for long, then you already know that I always try to be frugal. I have to admit that I found the cost of tickets for the Johnny Morris Wonders of wildlife national museum and aquarium to be quite expensive.
Why did we choose to go to the Bass Pro aquarium & Wonders of Wildlife museum?
My husband Jason had been wanting to visit the Bass Pro aquarium & Wonders of wildlife national museum and Bass pro Aquarium in Springfield Mo, since they broke ground October 4, 1999. So knowing this I agreed to go and so we purchased the tickets. That is a long time to wait for something to be completed and both of us were at least a bit curious, to see what had taken them nearly 20 years to complete.
How much did we pay for the Bass Pro Wonders of Wildlife museum and aquarium?
We purchased tickets online at (gasp) $39.95 per adult per ticket and made our way to the location of the very first Bass Pro Store in Springfield, Missouri. We have visited this Bass Pro store many times and to be honest the store itself is pretty amazing. If you love Bass Pro you know what you typically see at these stores already. This Bass Pro in Springfield Missouri had a few smaller museums to be enjoyed completely free, before the museum and aquarium even opened. The national archery museum, The national sporting arms museum, the motor sports museum, these are just a few of the things you can see for free at the Bass Pro store in Springfield Mo. My Review of the Museum and Aquarium in Springfield Mo
Bass pro has now opened the fabulous Wonders of Wildlife Museum and Aquarium. I cannot recommend the Bass Pro Museum and Aquarium enough. It was a bit pricey but actually well worth the price. The Aquarium is really very different from anything I have ever seen before. The experience was absolutely amazing and worth a visit at least once. If you are looking for something fun to do with your family this year, it is definitely something fun and educational for all. There are different pricing options available if you want to visit the entire thing or want to just go to the aquarium or just the museum, that is an option also. There are many free things to do and see at the Bass Pro store, which is also an amazing place to visit while you are in the Springfield Mo area.Here are just a few of the free experiences at bass pro

Overall we loved and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and if you are looking for a great experience and have some extra money to spare this is a fun trip for the whole family.
