Have you heard of the Plutus Awards? The Annual Plutus Awards are financial media awards, that are selected before and distributed every year at FinCon. FinCon is a financial media conference which is held each year in a different U.S. city.

How I discovered that I am in the running for a Plutus Award

Today I was listening to my iPod while I worked and when I saw the message come a-crossed during one of my songs, I was completely in shock. The message read Great news -- you (or your blog/podcast/project) have been selected as a finalist in the 9th Annual Plutus Awards!I couldn't believe my eyes. It was so hard at that moment trying to hold back the urge to scream building up inside me. I still cannot believe that my blog was nominated and selected as a finalist. My website savingjoyfully.com was nominated among a few other blogs as shown below for the following nomination.

After reviewing the other contestants I am even more surprised to be included.
